Historically established in the Eure, in Corneville-sur-Risle, Le Foll TP is a family business created in 1922 and taken over by Mrs. Sophie Le Foll on the death of its founder, Mr. Pierre Le Foll. It has been managed for several years by Mr. Pierre Gil. In addition to its head office, Le Foll TP has 3 agencies located in Pont-Audemer (27), Caen (14) and Andrésy (78).
The customer positioning and the geographical area covered by this company perfectly complement the offer offered by Spie batignolles and its Public Works and Environment branch, made up of Spie batignolles malet, Spie batignolles valérian, Spie batignolles favier and Spie batignolles vallia (road works, earthworks, countryside).
For Eric de Balincourt, managing director of the infrastructure branch of Spie batignolles: “Spie batignolles has always affirmed its desire to extend its positions to the whole of the national territory in these businesses. Strengthened by our roots throughout the southern half of France with the teams of Spie batignolles malet and Spie batignolles favier, the acquisition of the company Le Foll TP will now allow us to shine throughout Normandy but also the island of France and to develop strong customer synergies. We are very happy to welcome these teams to our Group! »
Three other companies are also affected by this takeover:
- Transloc, specialized in the transport and rental of equipment
- Lborineux, demolition company in building, industry and works of art
- Sepra, a construction company that works on small residential programs and public facilities.
The whole represents an annual turnover of 45 million euros and 270 employees.
Among the references in major projects of these teams, let us mention the construction of the A28 sections Rouen (76) - Alençon (61) and Rouen - Neufchâtel (76) or the A29 between Beuzeville (27) and Honfleur (14) , the A88 from Sées to Falaise (61) or the widening of the A13 and A31 motorways from Crimolois (21) to Langres (52).
For Sophie Le Foll, who hands over the presidency of the company to Jean-Charles Robin, president of Spie batignolles: "I would like to warmly thank all the employees of the Group's historic subsidiary for all the progress made over these long years, sometimes in difficult market conditions, and I am satisfied to hand over to a major and recognized player who shares our values. I am convinced that this merger is a wonderful opportunity for growth and development for the future group formed. »
The various players in the operation were assisted by the advice of Natixis Partners and Fieldfisher for the sellers and those of King & Spalding, Pwc and Arsène for Spie batignolles.
