For this 4th edition the Construction Tech® Start-ups Challenge will focus in particular on Construction 4.0 solutions: BIM but also Off-Site, automation, additive manufacturing, etc.
The kick off of the fourth edition of the Construction Tech® Challenge is now given! Start-ups have until November 30, 2021 to submit their applications, which will be studied by a jury of experts in December 2021. The results will be officially announced at the end of December.
The winners, as well as the Grand Prize winner, will be elected based on several criteria including the relevance and maturity of the solution or product presented, in areas as varied as:
- Digitization and data: BIM, augmented reality, predictive maintenance, Big Data, IA, etc.
- Industrialization: automation, robotics, logistics, 3D printing, off-site, etc.
- Building sites: drones, management tools etc.
- New materials and their traceability.
Challenge Construction Tech®: revealer and showcase of innovations for construction start-ups
Since its creation, the Construction Tech® Start-ups Challenge registered nearly 300 applications. 21 winners and 3 Grand Prize winners (Snapkin, Urban Canopee and Qarnot Buildings) were elected during the three previous editions and were able to benefit from the tools made available to them to promote their innovations.
Candidates for Construction Tech® Start-ups Challenge will be promoted through campaigns on social networks, e-mailings, and specific communication carried out by BATIMAT. Candidates will also benefit from a stint on the program "The start-up of the week" on BATIRADIO.
All the winners will be invited to come “pitch” during a dedicated meeting. Tech® construction in order to present their solutions to industry and journalists. To prepare for it, they will receive the help of one of the members of the jury, invited to sponsor the start-up of their choice.
The Grand Prize winner of the 4th Challenge will join Qarnot Buildings, Grand Prize winner of the 3rd Challenge, in the sector start-ups area Tech® construction of BATIMAT from October 3 to 6, 2022 at Paris Porte de Versailles. He will thus benefit from high visibility, as well as the possibility of meeting decision-makers in the sector.
Start-ups registered in the 4th Construction Tech® Challenge will also be integrated into the'' Digital Directory of Start-Ups . This exclusive tool was developed by BATIMAT to facilitate networking between start-ups and other players in the Building and Real Estate sector and currently has nearly 300 start-ups.
Reminder of the highlights of the Challenge
- November 30, 2021: closing of registrations.
- Mid-December 2021: Jury meeting.
- End of December 2021: official announcement of the winners and the Grand Prize winner.
- January 2022: Pitch of the winners during a special Construction Tech® meeting
- 3- 6 October 2022: Presence of the Grand Prize winner on Construction Tech® at BATIMAT.
