The DHUP presented, on Wednesday 5 October, a roadmap for improving the quality of DPEs for real estate professionals. It includes 3 issues: the creation of a technical sheet which must be completed by the owners and property managers before the visit of the diagnostician; strengthening the skills of the latter by harmonizing practices with the organization of an awareness day in 2023; and finally a last issue relating to the tools of the certification bodies.
To follow up on this announcement, the president of the Chamber of Diagnosticians (CDI) FNAIM Yannick Ainouche says:
"These proposals are a step in the right direction, it's a first step, but a lot still remains to be done, and our profession must have the ambition to go further to break this infernal spiral which constantly degrades the image of diagnosis . It will take more than a day of awareness and a technical sheet that the owner will probably not have filled out…”
And continues “CDI Fnaim recently made a series of concrete proposals, which I would like to share with you:
- Supervision of DPE tariffs with the establishment of a floor price below which the DPE could not be sold in order to avoid price cuts which inevitably lead to a deterioration in quality.
- A real preparation for the profession of diagnostician by using Apprenticeship
- A certification system more adapted to the sector for small and large companies: that diagnostic entrepreneurs now have the choice between company certification and personal certification.
- The creation of a real professional branch, and, why not, to think about an authority that could sanction the unscrupulous diagnosticians who tarnish the image of our sector »
