Storage: Collection and use of rainwater
The simplicity and speed of its installation is a strength. Once connected to one (or more) roof rainwater downpipes, the CITERNEO flexible tank fills up to its maximum storage capacity. The collected water is thus available, without treatment, for various applications and a varied public: communities, individuals, farmers, nurseries, industrialists... Thus, there is no need to worry about the cost of drinking water. or prefectural decrees which limit certain uses of water in times of drought.
Buffering: Managing Floods and Droughts
Depending on the rainfall intensity, the location of the storms, the state of the soil and the capacity of the rainwater collection networks, runoff flooding can occur. The impacts on the natural environment and structures can be numerous (degradation, clogging of equipment, pollution of surface water, washing of surfaces, etc.).
The installation of judiciously positioned flexible cisterns makes it easy to buffer abundant runoff and unclog the rainwater collection networks.
The objective is to store runoff water during periods of intense rain to discharge it, with or without specific treatment, into the environment during less rainy periods. The water then returns to rainwater networks and often dry waterways.
Proven storage solution upstream or downstream of a treatment
The flexible tank can be positioned upstream or downstream of a treatment. It makes it possible to store the water that will be treated, but also the water that has been treated:
- Upstream of a treatment plant, the flexible tank limits the hydraulic overloads at the entrance to the structures and makes it possible to reduce the pollution discharged into the natural environment.
- Downstream of a treatment, the flexible tank can also store treated water to then be used and thus limit water consumption.
The strengths of the CITERNEO flexible tank
There are many flexible tanks on the market today and it is sometimes difficult to find your way around. However, there are arguments that do not lie. CITERNEO flexible tanks combine many competitive advantages, in particular its 100% French manufacture. Faithful to its region of origin, the Centre-Val-de-Loire, CITERNEO designs, develops and manufactures all its flexible tanks in Amboise (37), without exception, from 1 to 2 m³.
Well beyond this territorial anchoring, CITERNEO flexible tanks have real strengths:
- ISO 9001 certification
- Technical fabric with exclusive EXOM+ technology
- Excellent value
- Product certified Origin France Garantie
