The FFB is even more committed to developing skills in construction

This “Pact for skills in Construction” contains the following commitments:

• build strong partnerships, including with vocational education and training (VET) organizations;
• monitoring professional supply and demand and anticipating needs in terms of knowledge, skills and know-how;
• fight against discrimination;
• attract more young people and women to the sector;
• promote a culture of lifelong learning for all, supported by appropriate incentives.

The FFB, with the FIEC (European Federation of the construction industry) and the CCCA-BTP, has been participating since January 1, 2019 in the European "Construction Blueprint" project supported by the Erasmus+ program. Construction Blueprint, which brings together 24 European and national partners from 12 countries, aims to develop a strategy on professional skills. This involves identifying the needs and expectations of companies in terms of skills, particularly in relation to the challenges of energy efficiency, the circular economy and digital technology, as well as collecting good practices, national and regional. .
