The FFB, the first employers 'organization officially recognized as representative of building craftsmen and entrepreneurs, denounces the signing of two collective agreements by a minority employers' organization with three central trade unions. This maneuver attempts to break the construction industry in two according to the number of employees employed by the companies.
This untimely signing comes at a time of great difficulty for craftsmen and building contractors who must face current unprecedented challenges: maintaining economic activity, safeguarding employment and supporting learning, protecting employees. during the health crisis, opening of restaurants for companions, etc.
“This initiative is destabilizing artisans and entrepreneurs in this critical period. In this already very difficult context due to the Covid health crisis, the FFB, the majority among craftsmen and companies, denounces these agreements which unbalance and sow trouble in the building. On the contrary, it is essential to initiate an innovative approach to strengthen social dialogue and pool our strengths, for the benefit of all companies, and not to break the sector in two.
