In order to support professionals in the sector in the management of their construction site waste, the FFB has just created BatiDéchets. This new tool allows you to find out about and access existing solutions for the free recovery of construction site waste within the framework of REP (building, furniture, chemical products and electrical and electronic equipment).
Available directly at the address batidechets.ffbatiment.fr, and accessible from the sites www.ffbatiment.fr et waste-chantier.ffbatiment.fr, BatiDéchets allows craftsmen and entrepreneurs to identify in three clicks, for each waste, the existing solutions and their practical methods, whether for a deposit, for a collection on site or in a company.
BatiWaste indicates the practical arrangements and steps to follow for each eco-organization, depending on the waste selected and the collection method chosen. The sorted construction site waste concerned is:
- construction materials and products: inert, wood, metals, plastic, plaster, glass joinery, mineral wool, etc.;
- electrical and electronic equipment, lamps, photovoltaic panels;
- chemicals: paints, glues, varnishes, sealants, silicone joints, solvents, etc.;
- painter's tools: brushes, knives, trays, grids;
- furnishing elements: cupboards, dressing rooms, kitchens, counters, etc.
For Oliver Salleron, president of the FFB: "Craftsmen and entrepreneurs are today lost in the twists and turns of REP and are unaware of the free recovery solutions available for their waste. With BatiDéchets, the FFB is contributing its stone to the simplification of REP Bâtiment, but will not work miracles if it is not associated with a profound overhaul of the system."
