1 in 4 temporary jobs concerns the construction and construction trades
The construction and construction trades are in high demand (26%) in temporary work. The same is true for Production and Industrial Maintenance (24%) and the logistics and transport trades (23%). These three areas alone account for nearly three quarters (73%) of the temporary jobs published in the second quarter.
“We are seeing a strong recovery in employment with more than 1 job offers posted online in the first half of 753. Île-de-France has not returned to its pre-crisis level, reflecting the magnitude of the impact of the pandemic on jobs in the Ile-de-France region; the construction, logistics and transport trades as well as industrial production are still recruiting strongly. A very dynamic job market in the second quarter
The second quarter saw a 23% increase in the volume of job offers offered compared to the first in connection with the various stages of deconfinement and economic recovery: (786 in Q000 and 1 in Q967).
Auvergne-Rhône Alpes and Île-de-France lead the regions that recruit the most
Employment is maintaining the momentum of the first quarter of 2021. Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes thus remains in 1st place in the ranking of the regions which recruit the most on permanent and fixed-term contracts in the second quarter and represents 18% of the 317 jobs published. After a first quarter in decline, Île-de-France nonetheless remains one of the regions offering the most CDI / CDD job offers and is positioned in second place, with 436% of the volume. national.
New Aquitaine and the Pays de la Loire are respectively in 3rd and 4th place with 10% of the national volume.
Center-Val de Loire, Normandy and Burgundy-Franche-Comté, on the other hand, only represent 4% of the volume of job vacancies offered in the second quarter of 2 each, as was already the case in the first quarter. .
Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes, 1st region for temporary recruitment
Out of the 649.212 temporary vacancies analyzed, Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes also occupies 1st place in the ranking of the regions which recruit the most in temporary work (15%). The Pays de la Loire and New Aquitaine respectively take 2nd and 3rd place with 11% of the national volume. Bourgogne-Franche-Comté and Center-Val de Loire are the ones with the fewest temporary work offers (5%). The 8th place in Île-de-France, for its part, reflects the impact of health constraints and the closures of establishments which have had a heavy impact on the Ile-de-France region, particularly in the tourism and cultural sectors.
Greater Paris at the top of the metropolises that recruit the most
The Métropole du Grand Paris and the Métropole de Lyon together account for almost half of the CDI / CDD offers to be filled in this Top 10 of metropolises (46%); and their places in the ranking remain unchanged from the 1st quarter. Nantes Métropole then completed the podium with 10% of the volume of CDI / CDD offers, including temporary work.
The Métropoles d'Aix-Marseille and Bordeaux Métropole then occupy 4th and 5th place respectively. Montpellier Méditerranée Métropole only accounts for 3% of the CDI / CDD and interim vacancies to be filled in France.
Medium-sized cities continue their momentum
The 10 largest metropolises concentrate 34% of CDI / CDD offers in the 2nd quarter of 2021, against 36% in 2020. For six months, we have observed a decline in the influence of metropolitan areas on jobs in favor of medium-sized cities (Cholet, Angers, Vannes…). Likewise, the top 10 metropolises concentrated 24% of temporary work vacancies in 2020 and only concentrate 19% in the second quarter of 2.
Business functions still in high demand
The ranking of the most dynamic positions is made up of commercial functions (16% of the volume of offers posted online under CDI / CDD and has taken a place compared to the 1st quarter of 2021), followed by the Production and Industrial Maintenance trades. (15%) and industrial engineering technicians (13%). These three professions alone represent nearly half (44%) of the open-ended / fixed-term contracts to be filled.
It should be noted that the logistics and transport trades and IT development positions rose 2 places in the rankings in the second quarter. On the other hand, those in construction and construction lost 4.
