In conjunction with the Government and ADEME, the network will thus support more than 20.000 craft businesses in their ecological transition efforts by the end of 2022. These will be able to benefit from free diagnostics and personalized support with CMA experts. On the program: productivity gain, cost reduction and sustainable development!
As the European Sustainable Development Week ends, CMA France recalls that the craft sector contributes every day to promote the circular economy with a network of more than 100.000 craftsmen in the repair trades, ambassadors of the economy. proximity to consumers. Today, the challenge is to accelerate the movement by encouraging artisans to take the turn of their ecological transition.
“With the digital transition, this is one of the key issues of the recovery for craft businesses. Today, the ecological transition is fundamentally disrupting the organization of our society, we are seeing the emergence of new modes of production and consumption. We must adapt to these issues and to the expectations of consumers who demand commitments from companies. With “Made in France”, the eco-responsible economy is part of the DNA of craftsmanship. Now, it is up to us to show that it is possible to reconcile the ecological issue with the economic interests of craft businesses: this is the objective of the CMA network with the Performa Environment system ”, says Joël Fourny.
To meet this challenge, the CMAs are launching the “Performa environment” system and thus commit to:
- Communicate and educate artisans
- Carry out more than 17.500 diagnoses with craft companies
- Support between 5.000 and 10.000 craft businesses in their ecological transition
What are the advantages for craftsmen?
Concretely, the chambers of trades and crafts have a network of several hundred economic advisers, including around one hundred environmental experts. With the CMAs, artisans are thus part of the ecological transition, for the benefit of their territory and a sustainable economy. To do this, CMA France and its network have already put in place many initiatives: the “TPE winners on all costs” system, the Eco-challenges, the “Repair'actors” network dedicated to craftsmen in the repair trades who wish to position itself as an actor in waste reduction and many other local initiatives throughout the territory.
