Cerema's "Air actor" project is selected as part of the Investments for the Future Program

The project is intended to bring together all the players in the professional ventilation and indoor air quality sector and is aimed at a pool of 200.000 craftsmen. It aims to durably structure a national professional qualification system and currently provides for an estimated budget of 3,8 million euros. The project can be launched in September for a period of 3 years.

The quality of the air inside buildings has a proven effect on health and well-being. It is attributed a minimum annual cost of 19 billion euros per year in France for the community. However, ventilation, which is one of the means of renewing indoor air, is the poor relation of the building: without real specialists in installation and maintenance, 50% of new installations do not comply with the rules of the building. art and this is a non-existent lot in single-family homes.

It is to respond to these challenges and to the regulatory changes provided for by the 2020 environmental regulations (RE2020) that Cerema is coordinating “Air'acteurs”. Selected within the framework of the national call for projects "Engineering of Professional Training and Innovative Support offers", Air'acteurs notably plans the creation of innovative training courses, based on digital technology (programs, supports), pilot training and training of trainers, development of new tools (multimodal campus, virtual reality, etc.). It aims to structure a national qualification system for professionals in the long term. In the current context of economic recovery, specialization and increased skills in a specialty of the future is an opportunity for professionalization and recognition of the sector.

This partnership project brings together a representative panel of the entire construction industry with the Workers' Association of Compagnons du Devoir, the Tipee training center, the inter-professional federation of atmospheric environment trades (FIMEA), the Scientific and Technical Committee of Climatic Industries (COSTIC), the National Union of Maintenance and Energy Efficiency Services (SYNASAV) and the Union of Thermal, Aeraulic and Refrigeration Industries (UNICLIMA).
