The Airvance Group acquires AEIB, a specialist in industrial ventilation

The Airvance Group is pursuing its external growth strategy and strengthening its areas of intervention by acquiring AEIB, a specialist in industrial ventilation and smoke extraction.

For nearly 50 years, AEIB Ventilators, a family company, has been designing and manufacturing ATEX and IECEX certified smoke extraction and industrial ventilation solutions, i.e. intended for explosive or dangerous atmospheres, for the nuclear markets. and the navy. AEIB is based in the Bordeaux region, in Tresses (33) and has a production site of 5300 m². The company has been ISO 9001 certified since 2003. With a turnover of €8 million in 2021 and a workforce of 50 employees, the company serves customers all over the world, in the defense and nuclear sector. In addition, AEIB has developed several ranges of smoke extraction fans in recent years, in collaboration with the Airvance Group.

As an expert in air treatment, the Airvance Group ensures the well-being and safety of people in their living and working places. Fire protection and smoke extraction are the major security component in a building. Fire protection equipment aims to prevent the outbreak of fire, by choosing suitable materials. Smoke extraction, on the other hand, aims to evacuate smoke and toxic gases. With this acquisition, the Airvance Group strengthens its center of expertise in the smoke extraction and industry sector, and wishes to develop synergies in terms of product offerings. AEIB has solid know-how in smoke extraction: its Research & Development team, the quality of its products (ISO 9001 certified for more than 10 years), its extensive ranges and its test laboratory will reinforce the expertise of the Airvance Group in smoke extraction and industry.
