By acquiring new skills through strategic acquisitions, the group is strengthening its position in the market. Driven by the dynamics of the renovation market, its chairman expresses his desire to continue this growth and confirms his ambition to become a key player in the energy transition of buildings.
Acorus rides the wave of energy renovation

After a record final quarter, the Acorus group ends 2024 with a turnover of 291 million euros (excluding acquisitions), up 5% compared to 2023 (277 million euros). All of the group's customer segments contribute to growth in 2024. Activity with social landlords is driven by growing demand for eco-renovation (particularly comprehensive energy renovations and reuse). The hotel and healthcare sectors have enormous needs to modernize their establishments (Acorus has also won a major contract with emeis). Demand from tertiary buildings is stimulated by the entry into force of the tertiary decree. Co-ownerships are also resolutely committing to massive investment plans, with energy prices that heavily penalise co-owners and with the obligation to change the energy labels of housing, under penalty of no longer being able to rent them.
Acorus expands its offering with three new acquisitions
By integrating ENEOR (engineering dedicated to energy performance), Verdone (Toulouse specialist in building management systems GTB) and Sésame Automatisme (accessibility solutions) into its group, Acorus is expanding its scope and once again completing its global eco-renovation offering. In 2025, thanks to its acquisitions, continued very strong organic growth and an order book that is still as full as ever, the Acorus group should achieve more than €300 million in turnover. The 2025 activity should also benefit from the strong development of Acorus' digital offerings: Acoshop to simplify the management and monitoring of purchases, Acofor for individualized water and energy metering and Lowit to support the tertiary decree. Artificial intelligence gradually integrated into digital tools will enable significant gains in efficiency and productivity. Finally, 2025 will be the year of the take-off of YATOU, an "all-in-one" offer to remove the majority of obstacles to carrying out renovation work in co-ownerships, benefiting from support from ADEME. As well as ENERALL, an offer of integrator of the energy renovation of tertiary and industrial sites based on Energy Performance Contracts (EPC).
Two new locations in France
Acorus operates in Nantes, Bordeaux, Lyon, Orléans, Rennes, Reims, and now in Toulouse with the acquisition of Verdone. The group has also opened a regional branch in Toulon, specializing in ventilation. In the long term, Acorus aims to offer all the trades of its global eco-renovation offer in the largest French cities.
This year, the Group's priority areas of development will be:
- consolidate its energy maintenance and rehabilitation offer for social housing in the Paris region and in the region
- develop its eco-renovation offer for tertiary buildings across the entire value chain of these operations: audits, design, production and operation using our new expertise in Technical Building Management (BBM)
- Accelerate the deployment of global renovation offers for co-ownerships and private housing throughout France (YATOU offer)
- develop its building maintenance services
500 hires planned for 2025
With 1900 employees, Acorus plans to recruit 2025 new talents in 500, including 80 apprentices, to support its growth and meet the daily demands of customers (26.000 home renovations per year / 230.000 on-site interventions each year). Acorus is looking for many technician profiles: plumbers, heating engineers, electricians, painters, tilers, masons, carpenters, locksmiths, etc. and also salespeople, sales assistants, administrative assistants, etc. These positions will be available throughout the territory, on permanent contracts.
For Philippe Benquet, President of the Acorus Group: "I am extremely proud of the Acorus teams who, once again, have demonstrated their expertise and commitment. Thanks to them, we have supported many customers in their energy renovation projects. The year 2024 confirmed the relevance of our strategy. Our business model, focused on the needs of our customers and innovation, is finding an increasingly strong echo in the market. We are pleased to contribute to the transformation of the building sector, by offering ever more efficient and sustainable solutions. The many recruitments that we are planning for 2025 demonstrate our momentum and our ambitions for the years to come."
