This 7th edition will be placed under the theme: “Architectures to live in”. A great way to appreciate the qualities of everyday architecture to better understand how architects design our living spaces. The health crisis has highlighted the importance of living in pleasant accommodation where everyone can flourish by benefiting from private and shared spaces. Also, access to nature or at least to the outdoors, to light, to proximity to shops, or to places of conviviality within one's building or neighborhood, have become essential elements closely linked to improving the quality of life.
This year, the National Architecture Days will particularly highlight projects made from biosourced materials, which are more respectful of the environment, which illustrate the new challenge that architects must take up today: building in a less energy-intensive and more green.
For the 4 th year, the “Raise your eyes! - in partnership with the Ministries of Culture and National Education and Youth - invites pupils, from kindergarten to terminale, to leave the classroom on Friday, October 14 to learn to read architecture and to decipher the landscape.
This edition will also highlight the 97 projects labeled as part of the Call for Expression of Interest "Committed to the quality of housing of tomorrow", launched by the Ministries of Culture and Housing in 2021.
Finally, the “À Vivre” days, organized by the magazine Architecture À Vivre and the association 1, 2, 3 Architecte, will return to discover architectural achievements during guided tours in the company of architects or building owners.
