QARNOT BUILDINGS
(Category: Renewable energy)
Qarnot was founded nearly ten years ago around an ecological idea and common sense: recovering waste heat from computer servers to heat buildings, in a logic of digital circular economy: heat, waste of some in IT becomes the precious resource of others in the building industry. Thus, Qarnot has created data centers to be placed directly in buildings, in the form of radiators (to heat rooms) and boilers (to heat water) to heat ecologically thanks to the heat released by computer calculations. In this logic of ecology and economy, Qarnot has also developed energy management software for buildings.

REBARTEK AS
(Category: Robotics)
Rebartek is a startup that designs and prefabricates automatic rebar. Rebartek specializes in the field of robotics. The solution is built in two stages: first, a robot builds the structure of the reinforcing bars, which is then installed on the site. Failing to assemble each bar by hand, the robot can itself assemble them and build the "frame". This solution saves time and labor. The second part of the solution is automated software. This makes it possible to completely customize the plans of the structures of the “reinforcements” and to give the instructions to the robot. Thanks to this automated software, Rebartek saves 20% of materials.
