A double recognition attesting to exemplary performance and a level of overall quality, obtained thanks to the know-how of the manufacturer, LA BOCAINE, without additional construction costs for the owners. A perfect balance between performance, overall quality and accessibility, praised by CERQUAL Qualitel Certification[1].
Focus on the first house certified NF Habitat HQE and labeled Effinergie RE1
The first house to be both NF Habitat HQE certified, for its level of overall and multi-criteria quality superior to regulations, and labeled Effinergie RE1 for its thermal and environmental performance, is located in Beaurepaire, within a subdivision of around thirty of individual constructions, all signed LA BOCAINE.
With a living area of 84,9 m², on a plot of 426 m², it has 3 bedrooms. Designed in Vertical block (15 cm concrete block), with internal insulation in 160 mm glass wool. The roof is in terracotta tiles and the ceilings are insulated with 360 mm glass wool. Concerning the floor, the insulation was made of 80 mm thick polyurethane. An air-air heat pump and a backup with electric radiators in the rooms were chosen for heating and a thermodynamic tank for the DHW. Classic, proven and efficient materials and equipment have been selected for this house.
In summary, no particular or distinctive sign for this house. And for good reason: the future owners had no particular labeling objective.
The challenge for LA BOCAINE was therefore to meet the NF Habitat HQE and Effinergie RE2020 requirements, while remaining within the framework of the initial project, in terms of aesthetics, configuration, deadline and cost.
For Xavier Bonnet, president of the company: “LA BOCAINE has always wanted to anticipate trends and regulations. In 2013, for example, we built the first BEPOS Effinergie certified house in France. Even today, we again wish to go further than the current thermal and environmental regulations, RE1, but always remaining consistent with the expectations and realities of our customers, especially in times of crisis. We want to demonstrate that it is possible to build a “classic” house, combining multi-criteria quality and thermal and environmental performance superior to regulations, at no additional cost to the owner. »
A bet made with a house whose overall quality is certified by NF Habitat HQE, benchmark certification in the field of housing, around essential criteria for optimal living comfort: quality of life, respect for the environment and economic performance .
The energy and environmental indicators of this house are significantly lower than the regulatory thresholds:
- For energy:
- Bbio (“Bioclimatic need”): - 21,8%
- Cep, nr (“Non-renewable energy performance coefficient”, i.e. consumption): - 18.9%
- For the carbon impact:
- Carbon impact of primary energy consumed (cep) - IC Energie (kg CO2 eq/m2 over 50 years): - 62,62%
- Carbon impact of building components - IC Construction (kg CO2 eq/m2 over 50 years): - 3%
- For summer comfort - DH (“Degree Hour” of discomfort): while the regulations provide for a threshold of summer discomfort hours of less than 1 h/year, this same threshold, regarding of the Effinergie RE250 label, is 2020 hours/year, the house built by LA BOCAINE ranks particularly well on this criterion, with 710 hours of summer discomfort per year
A performance labeled Effinergie RE2020 which promotes buildings that are more energy efficient, less impactful on the climate and better suited to periods of high heat.
Vision and strategy of LA BOCAINE
For Pierre-Henri Julien, general director of CERQUAL Qualitel Certification: “LA BOCAINE has a robust foundation: the company, engaged in NF Habitat HQE certification since 2008, is seasoned in quality processes that it masters perfectly, both in terms of design, final quality, and customer relations. This foundation, combined with a constant desire for progress, is fundamental to building houses that meet societal demands, or even anticipate them, while respecting the expectations of individuals.”
This requirement of adequacy with the real needs and possibilities of its customers is fundamental for LA BOCAINE: “For sustainable housing to become the norm tomorrow, for new construction to take this “right turn”, we always need, whatever whatever the economic context, seek the perfect balance between quality, performance and reality, particularly financial, of the project owners. These houses of tomorrow must be accessible to as many people as possible today. » explains Xavier Bonnet.
LA BOCAINE therefore estimates that around 20% of its production could qualify for double certification and labeling NF Habitat HQE and Effinergie RE 2020.
To achieve these results, beyond its global and continuous quality requirements, LA BOCAINE also relies on a network of craftsmen and partners that it knows perfectly, having worked with them for many years.
For Xavier Bonnet: “Without them, we would not be able to implement our strategy. Quality is a matter of vision, constancy, common sense and consistency, shared with all those involved in construction, without ever losing sight of the essential: the customer's needs. »
