Testo expands its testo Smart App with two new features

To make the work of ventilation maintenance technicians and operators easier during commissioning and adjustment, as well as during thermal comfort analysis, Testo offers two new measurement menus in the testo Smart App: ventilation system adjustment and multi-site measurements.

Testo Smart, an intelligent app

Downloaded onto the professional's smartphone or tablet, the free testo Smart App connects to and controls the measuring devices via Bluetooth.

All in one, it allows you to get the most out of your equipment and offers additional features: wireless reading of measurement values ​​thanks to the second screen, recording of measurements, instantaneous viewing of the measurement, values ​​presented in graphic or table form for rapid interpretation and analysis of the results, on-site creation of digital measurement reports in the form of PDF/CSV files and sending by email.

Two new paid applications for greater efficiency

The two new features, available by subscription in the testo Smart app, are connected to Testo's range of measuring instruments for the HVAC sector (testo 420 balometer, testo 417 digital vane anemometer, etc.) and indoor air quality. They concern:

Adjusting the ventilation system

With an intuitive user interface, automatic documentation and guided recommendations to avoid errors, this new app offers users of the testo 417 digital vane anemometer and the testo 420 balometer real time savings when commissioning and adjusting ventilation and air conditioning systems. For example, the app displays the reference measurement values, the measured values ​​and the recorded deviation depending on the rooms and measuring points. The professional can therefore see immediately whether the measured value corresponds to the target value to be achieved.

Multi-site measurements

As part of the maintenance of different sites, this new application allows the technician to automatically assign each measurement category carried out by one of the devices in the compact HVAC and Smart Probes ranges (testo 110, testo 512 s, testo 535, testo 545, testo 115i, testo 510i, etc.) to the site concerned, and this in a single report: light intensity measurement, anti-legionella temperature, CO2 measurement, etc. (up to 50 measurements per site).
