Terreal launches an offer of ready-to-install monolith chests for Brise-Soleil Orientables

TERREAL, a leading French player in terracotta construction materials, is launching the 1st monolith box dedicated to Orientable Brise-Soleil (BSO). Modular and harmonious, this box adapts to all the Orientable Brise-Soleil on the market and is easy and quick to install in masonry, on a brick or concrete block structure.

Indispensable for houses with large bay windows, benefiting from a beautiful sunshine, the orientable solar shades allow an optimization of the summer comfort. An integral part of the facade, they combine thermal comfort, management of solar gain and optimization of natural light. To complete its range, TERREAL has thus developed these specific boxes in order to offer the first 100% terracotta solution for the integration of adjustable venetian blinds.

Unlike a classic installation of boxes manufactured on site by a mason, TERREAL boxes are ready to install and allow considerable time savings and impeccable finishes. Developed in partnership with the manufacturers of adjustable venetian blinds, the formwork meets the expectations of project owners by allowing variations in width and thickness of the slat. Sufficient interior volume is provided to accommodate all different dimensions and the length can reach 5,20 meters.

Tested and approved: zoom on a construction site in Toulouse

TERREAL implemented the formwork for BSO for the first time on a single-family house site in Vigoulet-Auzil. Ready to use, the eight chests were installed in half a day, instead of two days with chests made on site by the mason.

Innovative and designer safes

The BSO terracotta box responds to a real demand from builders in terms of speed and efficiency, but it also meets the expectations of individuals and architects sensitive to the design of ever more aesthetic and modular openings.
