As a player in the energy transition alongside the French and the public authorities for a more efficient and secure EWC market, Teksial is unveiling a new and unprecedented professional charter of commitment for its professional building partners. A moral and administrative contract designed to secure all stages of the energy renovation work project and thus lift the brakes of the French still worried about the idea of embarking on work.
For more than 30 years, Teksial's vocation has been to facilitate the procedures of private owner-occupants, landlords of individual and micro-collective housing, tertiary companies, manufacturers and communities at all stages of their renovation project. This new professional charter of commitment is the result of this long-standing experience in keeping with the needs and expectations of French people who wish to save energy through renovation work in their homes.
Exceed the requirement level currently in force
Already a signatory of the FAIRE charter, Teksial wishes to further strengthen the security within its network and the quality of the relationship with its professional partners, by exceeding the level of requirement currently in force in the sector. To do so, the new charter aims to promote the commitment of "handpicked" building professionals who joined its network and thus reassure the beneficiaries of financial aid. Indeed, strengthening the sector is essential to successfully lift the brakes of these French people who are still too often worried. Remember that today 85% are convinced of the need for energy renovation according to the latest Monexpert-Rénovation-Energie barometer and yet they still do not take action. And for good reason, 34% of French people do not trust artisans and businesses *, they need to be better informed and supported by a trusted third party or still ask for a label of recognition.
By redefining strong commitments with building professionals, Teksial wishes to contribute to satisfying, in complete transparency, the expectations and needs of beneficiaries. Teksial's partners thus undertake to ensure the perfect execution of energy renovation works so that they perfectly correspond to the energy savings initially planned, but also to guarantee control of deadlines and costs on construction sites.
In addition to joining the “Recognized Guarantor of the Environment” (RGE) label, in connection with the services offered, professionals who wish to join the Teksial network undertake in particular to:
- Comply with all the regulatory instructions for the constitution of the request files for the premium Energy Savings Certificate (CEE).
- Do not subcontract more than 30% of their production, and only with subcontractors having the “Recognized Guarantor of the Environment” (RGE) label in the field concerned.
- Make customers aware of the value of carrying out an efficient renovation of the building.
- Provide appropriate advice and have transparent business practices that respect the rules, in the interest of the client and the project.
- Accept “in situ” inspections of their sites in order to guarantee the quality of the work carried out under its responsibility.
Works carried out in accordance with the rules of the art and respect for the environment
Partners are also committed to quality work that must be carried out in accordance with the rules of the art in order to guarantee the energy savings identified at the start of the project by accepting all controls implemented by Teksial to make sure. a maintenance service for each site carried out with a quick trip to the customer if necessary must also be made available in order to guarantee optimal use of his equipment.
Finally, in order for the positive impact of energy savings resulting from the works to be reflected as much on the bill as on the environment, companies engaging in the Teksial network are asked to ensure good waste management in order to reduce environmental pollution generated throughout the work. In summary, professionals wishing to adhere to the charter must sort and recycle waste as well as recycle natural resources used on the construction site.
While the latest 2020 report from the DGCCRF points to nearly one in two professionals (49%) in the energy renovation sector for fraudulent practices, selecting and promoting professionals who operate according to the rules of the art is no longer an option and must become a new benchmark.
“Today, the sector must tend towards these solutions which enhance the professionalism of construction industry players and thus reassure individuals. But also, this charter makes it possible to fight against fraud and to oust eco-delinquents by ensuring a selection of construction professionals adhering to this charter of commitment, thus providing better visibility and security of the market. The UMGCCP can only welcome this charter, which is necessary for the sector to highlight the talent of our companies and craftsmen. " explains Pascal Housset, First Vice-President of the UMGCCP, member of the FFB.
