In a context of sustained growth, burgbad has made numerous investments at its Nogent-le-Roi site. With a new 2.200 m2 shipping building and a production capacity that can now reach 500 pieces of furniture per day, the Nogent-le-Roi site is optimizing its logistics costs and improving its delivery service.
A new shipping building
An investment of 2,4 million euros has quadrupled the storage area for finished products and shipping.
burgbad thus optimizes its organizational and logistical flows to offer a better quality of service to its customers. In Nogent-le-Roi, three delivery formats are available depending on the customer's wishes:
- upon customer order: the products are delivered directly to a point of sale,
- in cross docking: the products are placed on a platform which then redistributes them to the stores,
- in full truckload for customers who wish to store products.
The French team is getting stronger
The new offices have been expanded by 540 m2 at a cost of €932.000. This new work surface area allows the marketing and product development teams to be strengthened. This is in order to better respond to the French and Benelux markets. In June 2024, burgbad also recruited a supply chain manager to streamline the service and improve customer satisfaction.
A renewed industrial tool
burgbad has invested 2,6 million euros since 2021 for machines dedicated to assembly and machining. This equipment improves quality and productivity: edgebander, panel storage, saw, facade drill (France Relance grant) BIMA.
