The Mondial du Bâtiment and its three trade shows, BATIMAT, IDÉOBAIN, INTERCLIMA, have made it one of the key topics of the 2024 edition. And to accompany the program that visitors will be able to find from September 30 to October 3, 2024 in Paris- Porte de Versailles, a specific international system is deployed over 4 months. Kick-off on May 24 in Tunisia.
Summer comfort, what place in renovation?
If winter comfort and the renovation of thermal strainers is a clearly identified issue, summer comfort is also an essential element to respond to heatwave episodes which extend both geographically and over time. A study by the Abbé Pierre Foundation puts the number of French people who have suffered from heat in their homes at 60% in 2022. And this does not seem likely to improve as Météo France predicts twice as many heat waves in 2050. by XNUMX.
These episodes of extreme heat have several impacts: health, comfort and of course energy. However, solutions exist to adapt renovation to the problem of summer comfort: choose the materials carefully (facades, glass walls, coverings, etc.), promote aeration and ventilation of buildings (bioclimatic design, natural ventilation, cooling systems, etc.), work on home insulation, equip yourself with solar protection or even green buildings.
To support these renovations, expenses linked to summer comfort and the renovation of “thermal kettles” are now taken into account within the framework of MaPrimeRenov' (shutters, blinds, etc.).
Observatories of the sector and its developments, the Mondial du Bâtiment trade shows are also committed spokespersons for the challenges of renovation. It is with this aim that the organizers are embarking on a four-month tour which will pass through several European countries as well as Africa. Specificities or points of convergence, these moments of exchange will be an opportunity to take stock with professional organizations, major contractors, prescribers and ministries.
RENOVATION TOUR: understanding the issues and analyzing local initiatives
Since the end of April, and until the month of July, the organizers of the Mondial du Bâtiment, in partnership with the HQE Alliance for certain dates, are traveling to several European and African countries[1] to hold conferences and have time to exchanges with local experts. These meetings have a dual objective:
- Share global and local visions to identify the best solutions deployed in each of these countries and draw inspiration from them to duplicate them,
- Promote the solutions present at the BATIMAT, IDÉOBAIN and INTERCLIMA trade shows.
Several personalities speaking at these conferences will also be present in Paris and will participate in round tables, conferences, masterclasses and workshops, particularly during the international day which takes place on the second day of the show on October 1st.
