The Suez group, smaller since Veolia's takeover bid for part of its activities, announced on Tuesday September 26 the move of its headquarters from its large La Défense tower near Paris to a more "larger" building by 2025. modern", in the same district.
It will be installed in a future building called “Altiplano”, a “modern and low carbon” building, which will result from the restructuring of an existing building.
The group has so far occupied several floors of the CB21 Tower, which also bore its name at its top.
CEO Sabrina Soussan signed the lease in July, “after consultations with staff representatives”.
According to Suez, AXA IM Alts, which developed the project, chose materials from "the shortest possible" circuits, also favoring the reuse of materials and furniture from the pre-existing building. Maintaining the existing structure will make it possible to avoid more than 10.000 tonnes of CO2 equivalent, or 65.000 Paris-Marseille journeys by car, the promoters assure.

The manager arrived last year at the helm of the “new” Suez, born on February 1, 2022 on the basis of activities spared by Veolia’s takeover bid. This historic player in water and waste treatment remains present in around forty countries.
