Today, these exceptional performances have been confirmed by CSTB, which has just issued EDILIANS with an ATEx-type technical opinion, authorizing its installation on a low-slope roof.
The only flat roof tile on the market authorized for low slopes
Recognition of the innovative capacity of EDILIANS, this type ATEx has formulated a favorable appreciation for the use of the STRETTO Huguenot tile for the realization of roofs at lower slopes, and at lengths of ramps greater than those of the DTU 40.23.
Thanks to its specially studied design, the STRETTO Huguenot tile has successfully passed all the tests carried out by the Technical Center for Natural Construction Materials. Demonstrating its exceptional waterproof performance, the results of these tests led the committee of experts meeting within CSTB to issue a favorable opinion for its implementation outside the standards required by the DTU. Thus, in a protected or normal geographical area, the STRETTO Huguenot tile can be laid with lower slopes that can reach up to 40% (with an under-roof screen) for lengths of ramps up to 8 m of horizontal projection. . Depending on the application conditions, it can even be installed for creeper lengths of up to 12 m. A first for a flat tile whose installation area traditionally prohibits going below 60% minimum slope (with under-roof screen)!
STRETTO Huguenot, a real flat roof tile, large, design and efficient
Produced on the St Germer de Fly site, the XXL STRETTO Huguenot tile benefits from the recognized strengths of Beauvais clay. With a high manufacturing quality, it combines exceptional mechanical resistance and optimal sealing.
Compatible with EDILIANS photovoltaic tiles and available with a range of specific coordinated accessories (ventilation tile, 160 socket tile VMC compliant, ridge lining and sewer tile, 1⁄2 tile, 3⁄4 tile, individual edge left and right), the STRETTO Huguenot tile is available in Flamed Rustic, Slate and Vallée de Chevreuse colors.
The first manufacturer to obtain an ATEx on a flat tile for installation on a low slope, EDILIANS invites contractors to push the limits of their creativity. With a resolutely contemporary aesthetic, the STRETTO Huguenot tile, on low-sloped roofs but also as cladding, thus opens the way to new architectural perspectives.
