His goal ? Make bold and impactful proposals concerning climate transformation, intended for implementation within companies. Sto, the facade specialist - thermal insulation from the outside (ITE), technical products and facade embellishment, ventilated cladding - announces its selection during the 4th wave of recruitments. This commitment is perfectly in line with its CSR policy and its motto "Building responsibly".
Ecological transition: a subject at the heart of Sto's concerns
The topics of climate change, ecological transition and the environment in general are more topical than ever. As CEO of Sto and Chairman of the Groupement du Mur Manteau, Philippe Boussemart is heavily involved in the energy transition sector. And it is perhaps in the cooperation and collaboration between the different companies that it will be able to be successful!
Philippe Boussemart therefore decided to apply for the Business Convention for the Climate by explaining his environment, his missions, his ecosystem with the Groupement du Mur Manteau, his motivations, his interest and that of Sto for the subject. After two interviews with the CEC selection committee, Sto was selected to be part of the collective of 150 leaders in training, to co-construct roadmaps aligning their companies with the national trajectory of - 55 % of greenhouse gas emissions by 2030 and the decarbonisation targets set by Europe in 2020.
“Climate transformation is no longer combined with the future but with the present, which creates an obligation of immediate commitment to protect the planet and the future of our children. I wish to carry this ambition with the other leaders of the CEC while preparing my company and its ecosystem to succeed in this ecological challenge ”, indicates Philippe Boussemart.
Towards better climate and environmental change driven by businesses
The Business Convention for the Climate will revolve around the same themes as those of the Citizen's Climate Convention: consume, produce, flourish, travel, accommodation, food and services & others.
Sto, as a leader in thermal insulation from the outside, will logically take part in the “housing” theme.
In this context, Philippe Boussemart will be responsible for contributing to collective intelligence by contributing his experience acquired in the energy performance of buildings. The 150 leaders will collect ideas, discuss and represent their employees.
"What is interesting in this Business Convention for the Climate is that there is both the possibility of contributing to it, but also that of infusing and initiating climate transformation within Sto" , raises the CEO of Sto.
Philippe Boussemart will be supported in his task by Sophie Choplin, the marketing director of Sto, designated as “Planet Champion”. She will act as a substitute and will be the standard bearer of the results of the work of the CEC within the company.
A program up to the ecological challenges!
The 150 leaders will have to follow a learning-action path in order to bring their roadmaps up to the ecological challenges.
