Sto innovates with StoArmat Classic HD, a new two-component ITE underlayment

The goal? Provide a solution for ITE applicators to allow them to continue their facade work whatever the weather. It's done with the arrival of the new StoArmat Classic HD in the family of organic underlayments StoArmat Classic. Unique on the market, this two-component product makes it possible to shorten the through-drying time in order to be able to apply the finish more quickly and thus reduce the execution time of the work.

HybridDrying (HD) technology for the shortest drying time on the market

An innovation from Sto, unique on the market, the new organic underlayment StoArmat Classic HD incorporates HybridDrying (HD) technology which accelerates the setting and drying time to the core, even in wet and cold weather. The finish can then be applied after around 2 days (compared to 5 days normally).

StoArmat Classic HD is a solution made up of 2 components: a bucket containing the StoArmat Classic HD underlayment and a carton of StoAdditiv HD additive in the lid. To start the chemical process which activates the drying process, it is enough to incorporate the additive in the bucket. And voila !

StoArmat Classic HD is best used when temperatures are between +1 and + 10 ° C and is resistant to night frost down to -5 ° C.

A more productive winter season

With StoArmat Classic HD, Sto minimizes the obstacles of autumn and winter and sets a new milestone in the implementation of ITE systems during cold and wet periods.

This independence with respect to weather conditions facilitates the establishment of site schedules and extends the time devoted to projects. The possibility of starting the season earlier in the year and ending it later allows applicators to maximize the number of jobs to be treated during the year and to minimize the loss of turnover during the winter period.
