SMAC has just finalized the sale of its Skylight production and marketing pole, SKYDÔME and its fire safety systems installation and maintenance pole, ESSEMES SERVICES to KINGSPAN LIGHT + AIR, a division of the Kingspan Group.
This sale is fully in line with SMAC's strategy, which is refocusing on its core business, namely its works activity: waterproofing, cladding, architectural facade as well as upkeep and maintenance of the building envelope.
Franck Davoine, President of SMAC underlines: “The completion of these two sales processes represents a real opportunity for SMAC. We will be able to concentrate on our mission, namely: to design, build and maintain in an eco-responsible way the envelope of the real estate assets of today and tomorrow. It should be noted that the building sector represents 45% of final energy consumption and 20% of greenhouse gas emissions.
Remember that at the beginning of March 2021, SMAC finalized the sale of its membrane production and marketing center, Axter.
