SikaRoof® i-Cure®, the first liquid polyurethane waterproofing system for ultra-low odor roofs

To go further and meet environmental requirements, Sika has developed SikaRoof® i-Cure®, the first liquid polyurethane waterproofing system for roofs, with a low VOC content and very low odor.

SikaRoof® i-Cure®: a system that respects users and the environment

Developed from a new formulation called i-Cure®, the SikaRoof® i-Cure® system is characterized by low VOC content and low odor release, during and after application.

It consists of two polyurethane resins:

• Sikalastic®-631: one component cold applied polyurethane resin, seamless, highly elastic, very low odor. Red in color, easily identifiable, it is used as the first layer of the system. It is applied without primer on concrete substrates and offers good adhesion to most substrates. It is recoatable in 2 to 4 hours.
• Sikalastic®-641: one-component, cold-applied polyurethane resin, seamless, highly elastic and UV resistant, with very low odor. It is applied as a second layer to form a waterproof and continuous film.

The set is completed or not with a frame as needed. SikaRoof® i-Cure® is a complete system that respects applicators and the environment, can be produced during the day, for efficient waterproofing of roofs.

SikaRoof® i-Cure®: a solution for every site

Particularly suitable for renovation projects in sensitive environments such as hospitals, schools, food and pharmaceutical industries, SikaRoof® i-Cure® is a complete system, quick to install and responsible. It comes in 4 solutions adapted to the different demands of the roof. It offers a solution dedicated to the renovation of dry roofs, SikaRoof® i-Cure® Roof rehabilitation.

It is also available in several colors, including a White RAL allowing the production of Cool Roofs (initial Solar Reflectance Index (SRI) = 108). This system is tested and approved according to ETAG 005 and validated by CCT 48.
