Comfortable, contemporary and sleek, these new solutions meet the highest demands in terms of design and technical performance.

Gas: natural fuel, available and ecological

Gas is clean energy that respects the environment. With a very high efficiency and equipped with ever more efficient burners, the gas releases very little CO2 (without dust or ash) compared to other non-renewable energies. Highly available, it is distributed in nearly 9 municipalities, i.e. a little over 500 million households already connected (mainly in cities) and 10 million connectable (gas passing within 8 meters of their property line) . For homes that are not yet fortunate enough to be connected to the network, Seguin stoves and inserts can also operate with bottled gas or with an external tank.

By 2020, the gasification of biomass, in other words wood or straw, could allow the production of bio methane. Seguin unveils a complete, stylish and high-performance range: 15 new models are already on sale through regular distributors, but a total of 77 references are available on order. Very discreet, the fireplaces and gas inserts of this new range become real decorative elements to reveal the fascinating spectacle of the flames which shoot up from the ramps. On the technical side, the dual-ramp burner technology ensures better distribution of the flame over almost the entire internal width available for a unique and warm flame play. As such, the manufacturer Ortal provides log or pebble type decorations, ceramic, the specific placement of which helps to magnify the flame.

If the hearths and inserts bring the contemplation of the flames, the stoves are the object of an irreproachable finish thanks to the ceramics of more or less contemporary colors which dress them.

True daily heating comfort

The operation of gas stoves and fireplaces is comparable to that of central heating: they are fitted with a remote control, which acts as a room thermostat. The principle is simple: the user controls the switching on and off of his appliance, sets the temperature to the nearest degree, and manages the programming according to time slots adapted to his own rhythm of life.

In addition, the appliance can operate in the event of a power failure and its maintenance must be carried out by a gas professional.
