Coffrage Schöck ASE, the exemplary site of the Ycone Tower in Lyon

This innovative, turnkey solution was thus chosen by the concrete products specialist Plattard for the prefabrication of more than 300 linear meters of beams assembled in the heart of the Ycone Tower, in the Confluence district, on the Lyon peninsula. . Designed by the architect Jean Nouvel, this unique tower rises to 64 meters high and houses a mixed program of 92 apartments (including 27 housing units on social rental loan) spread over 14 floors and 660 m2 of shops located on the ground floor . The wooden framework, the concrete facade clad in aluminum, a double skin in opaline glass sparing spacious terraces or loggias, and a metal cap give Ycone a "floating" silhouette. A lightness which is based on the solidity of the floors assembled, at each level, with beams incorporating Schöck ASE formwork in C40 / 50 extruded fiber-reinforced concrete.

A site facilitated by a prefabrication itself ultra simplified

While for a typical site, traditional on-site formwork is a tedious, time-consuming and sometimes risky step, especially when workers have to form at great heights, the POUTREKO® prefabricated solution avoids a number of handling operations and provides safety. optimal.

The integration of Schöck ASEs in the factory makes it possible to obtain precast beams provided with their reinforcement which will be delivered on site in order to be cast at the same time as the floor. Lighter because they are hollowed out, they are easier to unload and handle, so many added values ​​greatly appreciated by companions. As for keying between beams, again simplicity prevails: all you have to do is cut the ASE formwork to cast nodes and column heads in one go. The wide range of ASEs offered thus allowed the use of 6 different heights of ASE (all with a length of 270 cm, but height variants: 18/20/25/30/35/40 cm) for s' adapt to the various configurations encountered on the Ycone Tower site! These ASE 0DW models, without sealing gaskets, made the difference, their chamfered profile appealing to users and ensuring an irreproachable finish.

It should be remembered, moreover, that Schöck ASE formworks are characterized by their resistance to bending (15-16 N / mm2), to pressure (55- 60 N / mm2), to frost and to bad weather.

Finally, it should be noted that this solution does not generate any waste in the prefabrication plant or on site compared to traditional systems and also lessens the inconvenience caused to residents (since it reduces the long and sound stage of formwork and pouring on site).
