Schenker Stores France opens registrations for its new 2025 training sessions

Led by Christian Koessler, Technical Manager and Sales Director for Schenker Stores France, these sessions are dedicated exclusively to external sun blinds (BSO). Spread over two days, they offer a complete immersion in the world of BSO, with in-depth technical support.

With five sessions planned this year, each limited to 10 participants, Schenker Stores guarantees personalized and enriching training for all participants. The sessions will take place on March 17 & 18, 2025, March 24 & 25, 2025, April 14 & 15, 2025, April 16 & 17, 2025 and April 28, 29 & 30, 2025. A comprehensive and immersive training program at the heart of the Schenker Stores production site in Switzerland

The training sessions take place in Schönenwerd, at the production site in Switzerland, offering two days rich in exchanges and learning. The friendly setting and modern facilities of the training center are perfectly suited to deepening technical and practical skills around external sunshades.

The training begins with a visit to the showroom, where professionals can see all of the brand's products: adjustable sun blinds, awnings and exterior blinds. This step is followed by a tour of the production workshops, allowing you to observe the different stages of manufacturing a BSO, from profiling the slats to assembling the product, including the making of a GM200 pantograph, the all-metal BSO.

The training continues with practical modules, which constitute the core of the program. Grouped in pairs, participants practice on full-scale installations, with all the necessary equipment and tools available. Practical exercises include:

• Installation of BSO GM200, MV90, VR90 and VR90 with dressing guide.
• Techniques for changing blades, slides, motors, specific parts (such as Texband) and adjustments for optimal maintenance.
• A section dedicated to after-sales service with simulated situations, inspired by real cases encountered in the field.
• Finally, a module is dedicated to radio programming of IO motors.
  Participants learn how to adjust limit switches, create centralizations and diagnose and resolve possible anomalies related to motorized systems.
  This program, combining theory and practice, ensures complete mastery of BSO solutions, from their installation to their maintenance, and guarantees craftsmen and professionals a significant increase in skills.

In addition to training dedicated to BSOs, Schenker Stores offers personalized and intensive one-day sessions throughout the year, focused on a specific product, at the training centers and showrooms in Saint-Priest, near Lyon and soon Paris, which will open at the end of the first quarter of 1.

Schenker Stores training is aimed at a variety of profiles, whether installers, sales representatives, managers or technicians specializing in repairs. Adapted to the specific needs of each group, it allows participants to acquire advanced technical knowledge, perfect their installation practices and master the tools dedicated to solar protection.
