In the middle of the 24th century, many limestone quarries were identified on the territory. With its 110 years of expertise and the marketing of its quality hydraulic lime known beyond French borders, Saint-Astier displays a new satisfaction by entering the palace of companies recognized by the EPV label. This recognition has been clearly expressed by the INMA association, a state operator and recognized as a public utility association; it carries out a mission of general interest in the service of crafts and living heritage.
To this end, the association is the only organization authorized to award this unique State distinction associating the recognition of exceptional know-how. The latter aims to promote French companies of excellence and their commitments on key topics such as transmission, CSR commitment, technical expertise, etc.
