Rockwool presents the latest innovations in its acoustic range

On the occasion of the national day for communities on good noise management practices organized by the Noise Information Center (CidB), ROCKWOOL, the world leader in rock wool insulation solutions, will present the latest innovations in its acoustic range, specially designed to improve the acoustic comfort of buildings: Rocksilence, intended for individuals, and dB Rock, intended for professionals.

Rocksilence and dB Rock solutions are distinguished by a high density that ensures high resistance to air circulation, making these solutions first-rate choices for reducing and absorbing noise. These two solutions are designed for the insulation of all types of partitions between wooden or metal studs. Rocksilence panels allow an interior noise reduction of up to -80%*. The installation of dB Rock provides an acoustic attenuation of up to 50 dB. These two solutions offer optimal acoustic comfort and significantly improve the quality of life of the occupants.

Made from basalt, Rocksilence and dB Rock are infinitely recyclable and have a unique physical structure that retains its shape and strength despite temperature variations or humidity. This dimensional stability allows effective insulation for over 65 years, reducing maintenance costs throughout the life of the building. Fire safety is also ensured with these solutions, as rock wool can withstand up to 1000°C.

dB Rock, acoustic optimization for professionals

The dB Rock solution is suitable for residential (width 600mm) and tertiary (width 900mm) partitions, guaranteeing high acoustic performance up to 50 dB for a quiet environment. The dB Rock panels in thicknesses of 40 and 60mm are easily compressed while ensuring easy cutting. Facilitating the passage of ducts and cables in all types of partitions, dB Rock offers a practical and versatile solution.
