Rheinzink participates in the renovation of the Saint-Jean institution in Colmar

Under the direction of the roofing company Mario Ricchiutti and the KnL Architecture firm, this renovation reveals a perfect alliance between tradition and innovation.

The private establishment, which welcomes students from small schools to BTS and CFA, has been completely renovated to create an optimal environment conducive to learning. The work involved the complete overhaul of the roof, with particular emphasis on the flat part initially planned in tiles. Following the recommendations of the architects of the buildings of France, this part was entirely rebuilt in zinc, underlining the commitment to quality and authenticity.

A major technical challenge

Working closely with RHEINZINK for many years, the Mario Ricchiutti company has built a solid relationship of trust with the zinc manufacturer, allowing it to master the most technical projects. The Saint-Jean institution in Colmar is proof of this. In fact, the entire project was carried out with 100% natural zinc. To enable optimal completion, three craftsmen were mandated to carry out the project.

At the heart of the renovation of the Saint-Jean Institution in Colmar is the campanile, the true centerpiece of the site. The addition of natural RHEINZINK-CLASSIC zinc details has preserved this iconic structure while giving it a contemporary, durable touch that enriches its historic charm.
