Created in 2012 at the instigation of furniture marketers, Valdelia is an eco-organization approved by the French Ministry of Ecological Transition since 2013, which organizes the collection and recycling process for furniture waste. As a natural extension of its recognized activities, Valdelia is applying for the approval of extended producer responsibility (EPR) for “site waste” (products, construction and building materials) created by the law of February 10, 2020. on the fight against waste for the circular economy.
This new PWR responsible for collecting, recycling and recovering construction waste will come into force on January 1, 2022 with the designation of one or more eco-organizations. As the decree on the terms and conditions for granting approval is still pending, Valdelia was keen to fulfill its role as a recycling player, a partner of the public authorities by enlightening VSEs and ETIs in the building and construction sector during its conference. and materials (wood, concrete, floors, etc.), local elected officials, civil society on the conditions for the operational implementation of this new recycling channel.
