Questioned by AFP, the ministry clarified that this PTZ is indeed a new device, that it will be capped at 30.000 euros and that it will be aimed at "all", whatever the resources, on condition of 'having previously obtained assistance from MaPrimeRénov'.

To obtain this PTZ, households can turn to one of the partner banks to finance the remaining charge, once the agreement of the National Housing Agency (Anah) has been obtained.

Set up in 2020 and led by Anah, MaPrimeRénov' aims to help French people, regardless of their income, to renovate their homes to reduce their energy consumption and their greenhouse gas emissions.
