Last June, near Nîmes, the company Affortit Construction was commissioned to renovate the fibre cement sheet roof of a carpentry workshop. This asbestos roof was showing signs of deterioration due to natural wear and tear and climatic hazards, leading to problems with waterproofing and thermal comfort.
