Renovating lighting and public buildings to drastically reduce the energy bill of communities

The Syndicat de l'Éclairage enthusiastically celebrates the efforts undertaken by local authorities within the framework of the Green Fund for the energy renovation of public buildings and the renewal of public lighting. The projects submitted demonstrate a strong commitment to ecological transition and an awareness of energy issues.

Among the projects submitted, 40% concern the energy renovation of public buildings and 30% the renewal of public lighting. This strong representation illustrates the importance given to these areas in the ecological transition.

The massive adoption of technologies such as LED in public lighting and buildings represents a considerable step forward in reducing energy consumption and CO2 emissions. LEDs are in fact much more energy efficient than traditional lighting solutions and offer an extended lifespan, thus reducing maintenance costs.
