Development work at Châtillon-Montrouge station on the future line 15 South of the Grand Paris Express

The works, worth 34,5 million euros, started in May 2022 for a period of 42 months. They relate to the structural work, the construction of reinforced concrete stairs and the architectural and secondary trades of the station, as well as the covered enclosure of the emerging passenger building.

Designed by Périphériques Marin+Trottin Architectes, the station will consist of five intermediate levels, including a mezzanine. It will be distinguished by its series of escalators leading from the ground floor to the platforms located 32 meters deep, as well as by its artistic ceiling in the atrium. The work, created by the artist Laurent Grasso and Périphériques Marin+Trottin Architectes, will consist of 2 printed aluminum blades representing a sky.

On this site, 10% of the hours will be spent in social integration. The Chantiers Modernes Construction teams will also mobilize the VINCI endowment fund, Chantiers & Territoires Solidaires, which supports community projects of general interest linked to employment and social ties in the municipalities crossed by Grand Paris Express worksites.

This new achievement confirms the expertise of Chantiers Modernes Construction in the development of Grand Paris Express stations. It is part of the continuity of the operations also currently carried out by Chantiers Modernes Construction, with the development works of the Noisy-Champs station (Seine Saint-Denis and Seine-et-Marne) on the future line 15 South and three aerial stations Palaiseau, Orsay-Gif and CEA Saint-Aubin (Essonne) located on the viaduct of the future line 18.
