Rector unveils the new plastic formwork enclosure Rectoplast 13 VS for floors

Lightweight and efficient, the new RECTOPLAST 13 VS formwork plastic interjoist designed by RECTOR is the ideal and economical solution for the installation, in all seismic areas, of non-insulating floors on crawl spaces, in new or under renovation, isolated individual houses or grouped, small collective sets as well as tertiary buildings without fire requirement.

Improved design

RECTOPLAST 13 VS, the result of extensive research developed by the company's technical department, is a concentrate of RECTOR know-how.

With the same advantages as the interjoists of the Plastivoute range, namely lightness, simplicity of implementation, reduced dimensions, RECTOPLAST 13 VS displays many improvements in terms of design.

Among these are:

the integration of a shutter which avoids additional manipulations to the masons, which provides a perfect seal during casting and a controlled logistics for the negotiated materials,
the combination of the RECTOPLAST 13 VS interjoist with the RSE RECTOR beams to cross long spans (up to 5 m) and save shoring,
a new length increased to 1,35 m to cover more surface while using fewer parts,
a redesigned clipping system, in the longitudinal direction, which contributes to a simpler and faster implementation while ensuring a perfect seal during casting,
the upper part of the interjoist body with a structured non-slip honeycomb surface for improved safety on site,
greater rigidity for increased resistance and safety on site.

Sustainable design

The new regulations impose to completely rethink the life cycle of products and systems in order to reduce the environmental impact and the carbon footprint, RECTOPLAST 13 VS is part of this eco-responsible approach.

Composed mainly of 100% recycled polypropylene, RECTOPLAST 13 VS is equipped with a nesting system distributed over its entire length which allows reuse of scraps during cuts.

Controlled costs

The shape of the RECTOPLAST 13 VS has been studied to optimize the concrete bedding of the floors as much as possible (68l / m2 in 13 + 4 assembly), which saves money for the site.

In addition, reusable scraps reduce losses and reduce the amount of waste to be disposed of on site.

A patented and certified interview

The RECTOPLAST 13 VS interjoist, whose NF certification is in progress, has been the subject of two patents for its innovative clipping system and its integrated shutter.
