This represents the increase in reservations for new homes nationwide, between the first quarter of 1 and the first quarter of 2024. That's 1 homes. A slight rebound in a still-fragile new-home market.

While this recovery is an encouraging signal, it is crucial to note that volumes remain significantly lower than those observed before 2023, highlighting the continued fragility of the sector.

Several factors could explain this slight rebound: slightly more favorable financing conditions, a timid recovery in household confidence, the rise of the "LLI investors" scheme for individuals, as well as a slight recovery observed in urban areas such as Nantes, Toulouse, Montpellier and Bordeaux, which had reached critical levels and are being boosted by the effect of local recovery plans.

However, this trend can only be confirmed sustainably on the imperative condition of renewing the supply available for sale, by launching new programs adapted to the market conditions of 2025.

This is the share of major French markets affected by the positive dynamics of new housing reservations in Q1 2025; i.e., 41 of the 50 largest urban areas. However, reservation volumes remain largely below Q1 2022 levels.

This figure represents one-third of the volumes put on the market in Q1 3. All major regions are affected, including the Île-de-France region and regional metropolitan areas.

This is the number of new homes available for sale as of March 31, 2025. A drop of 20.000 properties in one year, due to a lack of renewal of supply and program withdrawals. A critical volume not seen since 2011.

This is the number of housing units to be started in 2024, a drop of 5% compared to 2023. This is still a downward trend in activity, although the figure is less alarming than the initial estimate (-1%).

This represents the decline in prices on the existing property market, nationwide, over the past 12 months, compared to -4% over the previous period. This trend brings prices back to the average levels observed at the end of 2021 (€3.150/m²).
