Qatar Holding on Monday handed over to Vinci the directorship he had held since 2010 on the board of directors of the French airport construction and management giant, Vinci said in a press release on Monday June 10.
No explanation for this decision has been communicated.
Qatar Holdings became a director in 2010 when Vinci took over Cegelec in Qatar in exchange for a 5,78% stake in the capital and a seat on the 13-member board of directors.
As of December 31, 2023, Qatar only held 2,8% of Vinci's capital.
Qatar Holding's representative on Vinci's board of directors is Abdullah Hamad Al-Attiyah, according to the group's annual report.
