The Practical Guide "Resin-based cast floor coverings" details all the stages of choosing and implementing synthetic resin-based cast floor covering systems, taking into account the characteristics, nature and condition of the support as well as the constraints linked to the stress and the purpose of the work.
No step is forgotten: preparation of supports, treatment of singular points, implementation of systems, site quality controls, reception of works, maintenance and repair.
Based on the NF DTU 54.1, the CSTB e-Cahiers n° 3577 and the Technical Opinions, this guide aims to prevent disorders and ensure the durability of the work. It follows the chronology of a construction site for the implementation of resin-based cast floors and offers numerous diagrams.
This guide is intended for all professional floor covering applicators, as well as project owners and project managers.
The guide was written by Karima BANCAREL, INSA engineer, and Hassan GOUAIR, waterproofing and floor coverings expert, with the collaboration of CSTB engineers.
