Publication of the practical guide “Gas installations in residential buildings – 3rd edition”

With more than 100 diagrams, this guide is essential for any gas design and installation professional (installers, kitchen designers, architects, BET, inspection offices, etc.).

Among these reference texts, the NF DTU 61.1 standard details the rules for implementing gas installations relating to the supply and equipment of combustible gas and liquefied hydrocarbons to residential buildings (collective buildings or individual houses) or their dependencies. Likewise, the decree of February 23, 2018, in application since January 1, 2020 and amended in March 2021, imposes new rules on the profession with results objectives allowing innovation without constraining means.

The Practical Guide “Gas installations in residential buildings” includes the provisions relating to the gas supply and equipment of domestic installations. Following the chronology of the realization of a gas installation, it highlights the sensitive points as well as the precautions to take for each stage of the installation.

How to shape, assemble and install the pipes?
How to install meters, regulators and safety devices?
How to supply gas to appliances located inside and outside buildings?
Which tests are to be carried out to control the installation ?

This new edition updates all the chapters with, for example, the arrival of PLT tubes, changes in terminology, in particular on cutting devices and the names of the premises in which the generators are installed.
