Publication of the CSTB practical guide "Works in plasterboard"

The Practical Guide "Works in plasterboard with or without insulation" sets out the precautions to be taken when designing and building works in plasterboard, detailing the provisions of the NF DTU 25.41 and 25.42 standards and the Technical Documents for Application concerned (GS9 and 20).

It comments on the conditions of implementation of the main plasterboard works screwed onto metal frames, ceilings (horizontal or inclined), partitions (distribution or separating), exterior wall linings, service ducts but also glued works (linings, coverings) and partitions made of honeycomb panels.

The position of insulation and vapor barriers is specified in the form of sketches of implementation details.

For each system, different points are addressed: installation and tracing, implementation, singular points, tools, treatment of joints, without forgetting the acceptance of works, fixings and hangings as well as the application of finishes.

This 4th edition incorporates additional data from the revision of standard NF DTU 25.41 (February 2022).
