Publication of the CSTB Guide "Integrating renewable energies - 3rd edition"

From need to operation, this new edition of the guide analyzes the various energy, environmental and societal challenges of the coming decades by addressing the following points:

• national and European legislative and regulatory context;
• characteristics of systems using renewable energies:
  • solar systems,
  • wood or biomass heating systems,
  • wind systems,
  • connection to multi-building or urban collective heating or cooling networks,
  • heat pumps,
  • condensing boilers,
  • combined heat and power systems,
  • hybrid systems (heat pumps and efficient boilers).
• completion of the regulatory feasibility study,
• integration of these systems into the built environment,
• chains of actors in play.

The guide also details the economics of the projects: overall cost, incentives, possible methods of financing and possible forms of contract.
