At the origin of Proplak Snow: the French applicator

The Project

Co-design of a range of powder coatings for plasterboards, in perfect alignment between, on the one hand, the expertise and current expectations of applicators in France and, on the other hand, the technical experience of Knauf on plastering products.

The result

A new range of powder coatings for treating plasterboard joints Proplak Snow with a unique recipe that perfectly meets the expectations of all types of users in France.

1800 bags tested on site throughout France by 40 specialist applicators

The selected applicators tested all the formulations for several months, across the four corners of France in order to refine the final formulations.

Nearly 1800 bags were tested:

1. Through “blind testing”

100 bags were tested by applicators during blind tests in order to obtain an objective opinion on the new formulations.

2. In real situation, on site

40 plasterboard joint experts tested more than 1700 bags directly on site in order to be able to meet as many expectations as possible of plasterers and jointers in France, whatever the regional sensitivities, the stages of joint treatment or even the types of projects to be carried out.
