Prisma Media bought the Côté Maison group

“Prisma Media is delighted to have finalized today (Friday) the acquisition of the Côté Maison group, following exclusive negotiations initiated last August,” indicates the buyer in a press release. The amount of the transaction is not specified.

Founded more than forty years ago, Côté Maison employs 20 people and generates around 7 million euros in turnover. It publishes four magazines (Maison Côté Sud, Maison Côté Ouest, Maison Côté Est, Vivre Côté Paris), operates an e-commerce platform dedicated to the sale of interior items and organizes events in the world of decoration .

“Prisma Media confirms, with this new acquisition, its desire to build a powerful and ambitious luxury editorial division,” underlines the magazine press group. In March, it already launched the French version of the American women's fashion magazine Harper's Bazaar and in May took a majority stake in Milk, a company publishing decoration and fashion magazines.

Prisma Media also owns Télé-Loisirs, Voici, Femme Actuelle and Geo, but had to sell Gala to the Figaro group in mid-November.

This was one of the conditions set by the European Commission so that Vivendi, controlled by the family of billionaire Vincent Bolloré, could buy the Lagardère group, which notably owns the radio station Europe 1, the magazine Paris Match and the weekly JDD .
