A few days before the first round of the presidential election, which will be followed by the legislative elections, the National Union of Surveyors-Experts publishes 10 proposals for candidates. The UNGE calls on the future executive and its parliamentary majority to rely on these proposals to promote territorial and environmental equity in France.
Published in the post-war period, the work "Paris and the French desert" by Jean-François GRAVIER testified to an unbalanced France, in which political, economic and cultural powers were concentrated in the capital. Today, the imbalance is also environmental.
Aware of the need to fight against the territorial and environmental divide, the National Union of Surveyors-Experts wishes to be a source of proposals in the public debate and share its 10 proposals developed following Territorial Forums bringing together politicians, experts and academics.
"Our ambition is to reconcile urban France and rural France, in particular by supporting elected officials in their environmental policies and revitalization of the territory", specifies Régis LAMBERT, honorary president of the UNGE, who can count on Cécile TAFFIN for this, the new president of the union.
Among the strong measures, the UNGE recommends in particular to set up a lump-sum check for territorial engineering and a "subsidiarity pact" under the aegis of the State, to organize "States general of land" and to create a one-stop "land control" counter.
To do this, the National Union of Surveyors-Experts has developed a platform of proposals intended for the general public, specialists, but also candidates who can commit to supporting its proposals thanks to a dedicated tool.
