To date, no other equivalent solution exists to meet the needs of closing special manholes, valve chambers, or non-standard technical chambers, which require devices that are robust, resistant to high mechanical stresses, and adapted to complex access logistics. This innovation thus addresses the needs of large technical manholes, often associated with major construction projects and imposing access hatches.

A simple and effective modular principle

The custom-designed KIO COMBI is based on a simple principle: each frame incorporates fixed-size covers (900 Å~ 500 mm). Covers are created by multiplying this basic module, allowing for coverage of very wide dimensional ranges. This modularity offers great flexibility: Polieco can analyze each request and propose a solution fully adapted to the specific constraints and needs of each project.

Technical and practical advantages

The custom-made KIO COMBI offers high mechanical performance (125, 250, or 400 kN), compliant with EN 124-5. Its design combines safety and ergonomics, thanks to the lightweight covers and their universal lifting points, thus reducing the risk of musculoskeletal disorders (MSDs) and ensuring safe handling. The system also reduces costs by eliminating the need for jacks for handling. The combination of Polieco covers with welded frames allows for very large dimensions to be covered while maintaining maneuverability and reliability. Finally, the composite's permeability to electromagnetic waves facilitates the installation of communication devices or remote data collection without requiring the covers to be opened. Its durability completes these advantages: the system offers robustness suitable for heavy loads and high corrosion resistance, even in aggressive environments (sewage networks, industrial areas, coastal environments).
