Polieco France presents its new range of tailor-made HDPE manholes for rainwater management

Made with 100% recycled high-density polyethylene (HDPE) from selective collection waste (milk bottles, laundry detergent cans, etc.), Polieco France's corrugated tubes with a low carbon footprint are mainly used to channel and convey without pressure rainwater. They are available in a useful length of 6 m, and are offered in seven diameters, from 300 to 1200 mm interior. The FLOWRAIN tubes are assembled together using a HDPE sleeve and an EPDM gasket which guarantees the tightness of the network.

The manholes, for their part, are entirely custom-made and are made from SN8 corrugated tube. Designed to be lightweight, these manholes facilitate their handling on construction sites and allow for quick and secure installation. They offer optimal strength and durability. This range of tailor-made HDPE manholes meets the specific needs of construction sites, offering a suitable and reliable solution for rainwater management.

POLIECO France chosen for the corrugated tube and tailor-made manhole solution in the construction of a battery factory

As part of the construction of a large industrial building in the north of France, with an area of ​​more than 83.500 m² with heavy goods vehicle roads and a light vehicle parking lot, Polieco France was selected to supply the site with corrugated tubes. FLOWRAIN and completely custom-made manholes. This 100% HDPE solution was implemented to manage all rainwater from waterproofed surfaces (roofs + coatings, across the entire site).

During the initial phase of the project, it was planned to lay FLOWRAIN corrugated tubes to build a network ranging from diameter ID 400 to ID 1200 by combining concrete manholes. Thanks to its plastic boilermaking workshop, Polieco France was able to offer a complete solution: “corrugated tubes + HDPE manholes”, all made to measure, which made it the specificity and particularity of the offer.

This approach was welcomed by the company responsible for the installation, recognizing the strength, waterproofness, lightness and durability of Polieco products, which benefit from a 30-year guarantee. In addition, the company appreciated the technical and economic advantages offered by this solution.
