PlanRadar launches its GED, a new functionality to facilitate the realization of site audit

PlanRadar, the first European platform for digitizing construction and real estate projects in the Cloud, is improving the efficiency of its solution by modernizing its document management tool. This new functionality is specially designed to meet the expectations of users who want a more agile solution for monitoring, planning and documenting the validation of tasks on construction sites.

This tool also aims to facilitate the document approval process by significantly reducing errors and job rework on construction sites.

Taking advantage of fundraising in January 2022 of $69 million, PlanRadar is consolidating its R&D investments and has been continuously offering new features for 10 years that enrich the platform and cover the evolving needs of its 120.000 users in 65 country.

PlanRadar is thus launching an EDM (Electronic Document Management) to allow its users to have better visibility on the follow-up of the validation process of all the plans and documents of a construction site in real time. It is now possible to digitally record all project data (drawings, updates and file revisions, etc.) in a single approval flow. Users can therefore more easily access all versions of documents grouped in easy-to-access files. The feature can therefore be used as a stand-alone, centralized document management and storage solution by construction and real estate professionals.

Aware of the constant evolution of software systems, PlanRadar has also developed its GED in a spirit of interoperability. Thus, documents saved in SharePoint, Dropbox and Google Drive can be uploaded to the PlanRadar platform.

This new feature is a major innovation that meets a need for efficiency in project management and document compliance. By making it possible to monitor the evolution of documents in a centralized way, it preserves the integrity of the data and allows an audit to be carried out in a reliable and efficient manner. In addition, the interface facilitates and accelerates the handling of the solution by all the teams.
